That is possible. In practice, however, it means that your current, working charging station is not suitable because it does not contain a MID meter. That charging station would then have to be replaced with a charging station with a MID meter. In practical terms, that means purchasing a new charger.
We advise you to first take a good look at what replacing a charging station costs and what the expected returns are. Depending on the number of kWh charged per year and the expected market price of an ERE, it may be worthwhile to replace the charging station (or not).
