The payment goes to the holder of the EAN connection. If you charge at home on your own connection, that is you.
Why is this more complicated with a lease car?
If your employer pays the charging costs, the Dutch tax authorities may regard the proceeds as salary. That is why employers sometimes want to offset the payment against your home charging allowance.
What takes precedence?
The agreements between you and your employer. Agree in advance who keeps the payment and whether it is offset, so there is no discussion afterwards.
PLEASE NOTE: exactly how employers and employees should handle this for tax purposes has not yet been settled. If in doubt, consult your employer or a tax adviser.
