No. If your charging station is behind the central connection of the homeowners' association (VvE), you cannot register ERE certificates as an individual resident. Only the VvE can, as the holder of that connection. If your charging station is connected to your own connection (your own meter cupboard), you can arrange it yourself.
Why can't this be in the resident's name?
ERE certificates belong to the connection (EAN) the electricity comes from, not to the owner of the charging station. If your charging station is in the parking garage and the electricity runs through the VvE's central connection, the VvE is the connection holder. The fact that the charging station is your own property and that your consumption is recorded separately doesn't change this: registration always goes through the party in whose name the connection is registered.
What can you do?
Point it out to your board. The VvE can register the connection and then settle the proceeds with the residents who charge. Fluctis provides the breakdown per charging point for this, so the board can see exactly who charged how much.
All VvEs known to us have received an email about this: they can have the ERE registration handled through Fluctis. Your board can sign up directly at
fluctis.energy/ere-registratie.
PLEASE NOTE: the scheme applies retroactively to the whole of 2026. The longer the board waits, the greater the chance that proceeds are left unclaimed.
When can you arrange it yourself?
If your charging station is connected to your own connection — for example a charging station at your own home, or a parking space connected to your own meter cupboard — you are registered as the connection holder yourself and can apply for the ERE certificates in your own name via the same page.
What does Fluctis deduct from the proceeds?
Fluctis retains 25% of the proceeds for registration, administration and payout. There are no additional costs for the VvE: no sign-up fee and no separate subscription for ERE registration. If you arrange it as a resident on your own connection, the ERE registration is included in your management subscription — so you pay nothing extra for it.
What remains net per charged kWh depends on the market price of the certificates, which moves with the market. For the current price, see
fluctis.energy/ere-registratie, where you'll also find a calculator to estimate your own proceeds.
Can't work it out with your board, or does the board first want to know what it will yield? Ask them to get in touch with us — we're happy to explain it in a single conversation.
